You're absolutely right.

Credit where it's due, can't knock how he's playing at the moment.

This is always the case though, plenty of times he's had a purple patch then he reverts to type.

Long may this continue though.

Once you’ve got a reputation it tends to stick.

I know he’s had more than his fair share but I’d like to see a stat of how many goals he’s actually cost us vs good performances

Probably no-one’s choice for a new contract but fair play to him. Hope it continues at least until until Branthwaite’s fit.

I didn't see the line up pre game, and it took until the 20th odd minute I think when the camera focused on him to really pay attention to the fact he was playing. Just went about his business today and played some nice passes too to the RW.

I’ve had enough of his bullshit but he’s my 2nd favourite CB at the club. I’m considering JoB a fullback at this point the poor bastard.

Yup.

This is the reason we all keep forgiving him and why in the early days he was touted for England.

On form, full of confidence then he is absolutely a premier league standard defender.

We all know what comes next though. Maybe not Mansfield, Wolves or Villa. But not long after that.

Branthwaite comes back in, I'm dropping Tarkowski, yes I said it. Moyes won't though

And I'll say the same play based on form and by all means drop Keane when he fucks it

I think Tarks has been very lucky to get away with a good few of his fuck ups - Keane’s always seem to be punished!

Fuckups aside, which they both have in them, Tarks is more commanding and a better talker and organizer. Keane has better distribution imo. I'd pick Tarks over Keane just for the leadership.

We go through this everytime. He plays well for 2 matches. People go over the top. He has a terrible match. People go over the top.

Mentality and concentration can get better with age for a footy player though, I haven't written him off.

Been very good this season, brilliant today and unlucky not to score. Looks like the contract wasn’t that bad an idea after all
