New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
If you're in the South Stand and you're telling people to sit down then you're in the wrong place.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
When I'm at a gig if I buy a seat I don't want people in front of me standing because I paid for a seat. If people are being told to sit down in the South Stand they are mad as fuck...it's safe standing!!! It would be like me buying a standing ticket for the same gig and expecting everyone to sit. Mad.
Also weird if people are complaining about people standing as a possible chance develops...its fucking football ffs.
And this is from grumpy old man who likes a good sit down. And a cup of tea.
Re the posters, not sure what is worse, having a telling off from the club via poster stuck to seat, or the fact you are near some cunt who has taken the time to complain about you swearing.

Yeah it was north stand but it was being stood as we were attacking. Absolute fucking lunacy. She was proper fuming. Wanted to slap her.

Personally, I reckon you're in your right to stand when there is an attackAudrey Horne wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 7:55 pm Yeah it was north stand but it was being stood as we were attacking. Absolute fucking lunacy. She was proper fuming. Wanted to slap her.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I miss the sound of the Gwladys seats all thrump-thrump-thrumping as everyone stands up whenever the ball makes it to the wing and someone makes to hit the byline.
Probably not as much as I miss someone getting the ball on the wing and making a play for the byline though, to be honest.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
There's a difference between rising out of your seat and standing all game though
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Nobody is standing all game.
People in the upper south are being told to sit down for standing up at set pieces, counter attacks etc
Standard stuff that wasn’t an issue at Goodison.

Yeah this was being stood for ten seconds. Insane behaviour imo to scream at people to sit down. Was grabbing people in front as well as she shouted. Id have swung for her if I'd been sat in front.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Is real but nothing to do with swearing, what doesn’t make sense though is if I put my sear on re sale and some racist homophobe buys it and let’s rip, do I find a yellow sticker on my seat next match and everyone looking at me like some sort of low life ?
Details of the Incident
The Notices: Yellow leaflets or stickers were found on several seats, which stated: “We have received complaints about the use of persistent discriminatory language in this area. Please work with us to make [the stadium] safe and enjoyable for all”.
Stadium Location: While some of the physical stickers reportedly used a template that still referenced "Goodison Park," photos and fan discussion confirm the warnings were placed at the club's new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Nature of the Language: The club's focus is specifically on discriminatory language (e.g., racism, homophobia), which is a breach of the supporter's code of conduct and a public order offence. This is distinct from general "foul" or "abusive" language that is sometimes considered part of the normal match-day experience by some fans, as noted in social media discussions.

Problem with this is that racism and homophobia aren't things you get a yellow piece of paper for. They're bye bye ST and a ban from the ground at the very least.Escalator wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 7:29 am Is real but nothing to do with swearing, what doesn’t make sense though is if I put my sear on re sale and some racist homophobe buys it and let’s rip, do I find a yellow sticker on my seat next match and everyone looking at me like some sort of low life ?

And, maybe naively, I don't think there'd be that many of them in the same place if it was due to discriminatory behaviour.
As Goaljira says, they'd be kicked out instantly and certainly contacted directly rather than just a sticker on a seat.
