I don't think out team is especially old on the whole, but certain players definitely drag that average up as a result of being ancient.

Apart from Branthwaite we don't really have anyone particularly young either so it would be good to have less bang average mid 20s dross with no room for improvement taking up first team slots.

Dyche’s contract definitely expires at the end of the season doesn’t it?

We'll never win games if we don't create decent chances to score them... Don't see us beating a rejuvenated Wolves and we'll be lucky to pick up any points in the other games.

I put in the match day thread it's time for Dyche to go, but actually his organisation and way of playing is probably what we need with the fixtures coming up, but once they're out of the way he needs to go.

It has run its course. Turgid and predictable. Wedded to a back 4 with full backs who can’t attack. No creativity in the centre of the park and attackers who don’t look like they ever train together. Flirting with relegation again if it doesn’t change.

Bet the players are absolutely sick of the sight of him. The fans certainly are.

Seen enough today to be happy with Frank (Thomas, not Lampard 😉)

The very opposite of us in his approach, always positive and forward thinking.

Should be gone this evening but won’t unfortunately cant understand the conservative approach against 10 men our full backs never overlap it’s being left up to gana our least creative player to make something happen absolutely rotten

I thought Brentford were pretty shit tbh, even with 11 men.

Felt they still looked a lot more likely than us being honest.

That's says a lot more about us and Dyche though to be fair.

@Kerryblueboy No point giving this next set of fixtures to a new manager and have him on barely any points after 6 games. Seems very counter intuitive especially when we have a system that does sometimes work at stifling the better teams.

Gives us time to get the right man in. Absolutely no point having Baines as caretaker for a game or two and then say Potter stepping in to a run of fixtures against Arsenal, Liverpool, City etc.

It's about making the decision a smart one at the end of the day. Get the new man in for the Forest game and a run of easier fixtures to get some momentum going.
