Anything that helps prevent knife crime or an act of terrorism is fine by me, can’t imagine how walking through a metal detector arch ruins your entry ?superpull wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2026 1:14 pm They need to fuck those metal detectors off.
Right off.
Absolute shit show of a concept, utterly ignored by the majority of people (who just breeze past the search when it goes off).
Hate them. They ruin the entry into the stadium area, which would otherwise take your breath away

It is making it more difficult to get onto the fan plaza.
Nearly missed KO yesterday because it took ages to get in. I understand them but they are also shite.
The solution is probably adding another entrance to the wall. Who knows if thats possible.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Honestly can’t say that I have ever been delayed by the metal detectors, usually walk straight through, maybe because I tend to arrive early, hour hour and a half before kick off. Never a queue at the turnstiles unlike Goodison when you were often 15 minutes or so on the street to get into Gwladys St.
The wall is a listed item of historical importance and can not be altered.

Well then you and your opinion can also fuck off as its irrelevant to the discussion at hand.
How much knife crime was there in Goodison by the way? I can't really remember stepping over the hundreds of dead bodies as they littered the lower Gwladys due to all the stabbings gong on
Edit
That was probably a bit harsh.
Sorry.
But you really cant be commenting on something that loads of people experience when you have no first hand experience of that matter - dismissing people when you dont actually know the problem

More than a bit harsh mate ! I wasn’t dismissing anyone’s experience, I was explaining my experience. I get there early as there are loads of empty buses waiting at Lime St. (Commutation Row” from two hours before kick off and am straight out the station onto a bus, 20 mins later there, bite to eat, couple of beers, club shop and it’s time to take your seat, that’s my match day experience anyway.superpull wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2026 2:15 pm Well then you and your opinion can also fuck off as its irrelevant to the discussion at hand.
