Also 25% with us is an infinitely better deal than 25% with a Liverpool utd or city...... because they wouldn't have a need to ever sell him

I love it when we think our varied opinions actually matter. I think we'll negotiate a better deal and sign him, but as I said 🤫

The word many is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
I'm his 4 seasons with us he got 0, 1, 0 and 2 league assists (2 in the league cup in the 4 years and none in the Europa league match he played).

Goals weren't exactly prolific either. 0 in the cups and in the 4 years in the league: 0, 0, 4 & 3.

You're right about appearances though. Those 5 assists and 7 goals came in 71 appearances

one of the main things is the lad wants to move to everton - thats worth every penny for me
if we want to progress as a club and move to the next level we need to invest
this guy could be the new gareth bale - the saints academy is unreal

listened to Paul Joyce on The Game podcast, he seems to think we wont/can't go any higher than what we have bid and will take Southampton to compromise on what they're asking.

Also seems the budget is quite tight on what we can spend this window.

I’ll be honest, I’ll be gutted if we don’t get him now

He's been briefed by the club.

It's all posturing.

All part of the negotiation process. I think we get him or another club beats us to it, he's not staying at Southampton.

Same.

Going from writing line-ups with Dibling Grealish Ndiaye back to McNeil/Harrison Alcaraz Ndiaye 😒

Transversely, do you remember when we collectively gaslit ourselves into believing that adding Siggurdson’s 14 goals or whatever would justify laying 45 large on a 27 year-old set-piece merchant

Whether this lad is good enough or not, I would love to have someone go stratospheric and the club be able to properly capitalize on that, unlike when Rooney burst onto the scene
