Dyche - HE'S GONE
Re: Dyche
Problem with the DOF position in my opinion is simply they can’t lose…buys a player who turns out crap…..eg Beto..
“ his stats were good prior to us signing him”
“ I spoke with the manager prior to signing him to see if he was interested in the player”
“The manager never gave him a chance”
“He never gave him enough minutes on the fiel
Etc etc etc….bullet proof…..

Re: Dyche
All things considered, I just want him gone and his backroom staff because it's a collective responsibility and that includes Thelwell. A clean sweep of the cupboard. Just hope it's not too late because we have to stay up to benefit from the move
Re: Dyche
If TFG perform like they have at Roma then I think your wish will be granted, and then probably granted every few months from there on.Paddockoldie wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 8:04 pm All things considered, I just want him gone and his backroom staff because it's a collective responsibility and that includes Thelwell. Re: Dyche
You claimed the other day that thelwell had done a good job because gomes, mina and Ali were no longer on the books. I mean that's a low bar. He just didn't renew their contractsKerryblueboy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 5:51 pm Have ye gone from deflecting from dyche towards thelwell now like it’s all his fault that dyche can’t gel a group of players together
Re: Dyche
We have to stop being so afraid of failure and being relegated after the takeover. If we want to progress, we need to take risks, and that involves changing the way we approach things on the pitch.
It requires evolution of us as a club. We have an unbelievable opportunity through the stadium to start achieving big things again in the future, and the building of that future has to start somewhere. The time for boring, defensive minded managers needs to come to an end. More Marco Silvas, Less Allardyce/Benitez/Dyche.

I think winning football matches breeds confidence, and to do that regularly we just need better players.Gary1878 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 8:38 pm We have to stop being so afraid of failure and being relegated after the takeover. With the exception of Benitez we have played really good, intense football under every manager. Last season some of the performances under Dyche were really good, and I could really buy into that. Similarly, we have had a more attack minded manager in Lampard, and he was shit and despite the intent it was woeful to watch at times.
Id personally hate to get someone that was obsessed with tikitaka style approach, and as good as they can be, I find it pretty boring watching City.
I agree I want a manager that wants to win games, rather than not lose them, which is what we have at the moment, but I'm not that worried about the how

Re: Dyche
I agree up to a point, but what would relegation mean post take over? I know in the last few years it would have been catastrophic and a threat to the clubs existence in general, would that still be the case post take over or could the new owners just pump enough money in to keep things afloat?Gary1878 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 8:38 pm We have to stop being so afraid of failure and being relegated after the takeover. Re: Dyche
Could do with a new manager bounce West Ham are going to act this week Leicester have already lose tonight he should be sacked by the morning
Re: Dyche
And yet we’re the lowest spenders in the PL over the last 5 years and during that time we have a net spend of a bottom half Championship team.
If this squad really should be top 10/12 like most on here think, then someone must’ve been doing something right?
Re: Dyche
How many times do people have to tell you we’re between ownership and he’s not getting sacked? We could lose 10-nil tonight and he’s not going anywhere.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 4:59 pm Could do with a new manager bounce West Ham are going to act this week Leicester have already lose tonight he should be sacked by the morning
