Also don’t get why he’s always brought up to suggest better managers than dyche can’t be a success here.

I doubt he’s going to be here beyond his contract, and even so, in his best role he can fit into any system.

It’s all about pressing from the front and he’s one of the very best at it.

He’s been a premier league centre mid for seven years now and a very good one at that. It’s mad how he gets spoken about.
Literally the only criticism was his passing which is undisputable. Plenty of praise for him lately across the forum with everyone saying we are better with him in the 10 then anyone else.

I think you're trying to find something that's not there with this random defence of Doucoure that isn't really needed.

Think we’re seeing different things but my general point which has now been lost was just on managers getting the best out of players.

I think we have players who would no doubt improve under the right manager, and some who are limited to playing a certain way. I'd be quite happy to end this chapter and move to something more enjoyable both with a change of manager and seeing the back of certain players.

The players Dyche gets the best of I'll happily watch them leave in the summer, and the ones he doesn't I look forward to seeing improve under someone more progressive. We will have a relatively young squad with what's left come the summer and so the perfect time to really mold something that brings more enjoyment.

To be fair the past few posts have been a few people saying there’s little point in getting in a technical manager because he’d have to work with Doucoure.

That definitely wasn't the point I was making if you mean me? It was purely in relation to someone mentioning we might find it panic inducing watching certain players trying to play a more passing game.

I think providing you don't ask certain players to do so and play to their strengths there's no issue for me with getting a progressive manager in. We all want to watch enjoyable football at the end of the day.

I really hope they don't give Dyche a grace period where they feel obliged to give him another 6 weeks or so, to give him the chance to prove himself.

I worry that might happen, and then we miss out on possible managerial targets and player targets in January.

My guess is that he is already in his grace period and has been for the last month or two.

it'll make it hard for them to keep him if he loses the next run of games and they take over a club in the bottom 3....
