I'd be content with that though as he's just turned 23 and he was okay when I noticed him last season at Luton. £11m these days isn't that much and Patterson obviously isn't going to be near the first team. This lad might actually be able to prevent us from seeing Young and Godfrey there next season.

first the guy said he is not being dictated by everton for any fee bargaining
then takes the piss by offering 35 million - thinking we are desparate to offload for psr - well think again jim
then theres the false rumour that the players agent has agreed personal terms with the player without any fee being agreed
then they offer 45 mill - still taking the piss
we stick to our guns 70 mill or fuck right off
now jim is saying the fee is too high and backing right off and looking eleswhere

Don't mean this in a harsh way but I bet he can't believe his luck. Nowhere near good enough for this level and managed a move to Villa solely because PSR is a farce. He'll go straight out on loan to Plymouth or somebody and eventually the contract will run out but the money will be worth it. Fair play.

Yeah he's barely league 1 standard.

Good luck to him.

How do we know how good/bad he is got no chance here last season came on against Chelsea scored and then bench duty for the rest of the season not saying he is a world beater but might be useful given chances

Thought he was out injured for the back end of the season.
Good deal for us.

He must be immediately going on loan to Villa Dálmine in the Argentinian Primera B Metropolitana then.

Trading academy players is a clever workaround for our (and Villa’s) current financial situation but it’s completely fucked that the rules end up necessitating this kind of behavior.

Happy we worked out something to get around the rules though.

Hope it works out for both players though, must feel a bit odd to be part of a deal like this. Both probably get to sign 5 year deals on improve terms though so likely they benefit financially.

I'm not sure Dobbin is even a championship player so I doubt Timmy I is going to pull up any trees.

He needs to improve massively to make it at this level. I’m not saying he can’t do it because you never know but Semedo for instance made him look like an academy player and he’s good but not a world beater. I expect both deals to have a decent sell on % and good luck to him. Both sides have got promising player who need to improve. A good deal
