Just listen to how he talks about standards and improvement. We need him back at the club.

This is how the Leitch design should have looked

I think I’m glad they didn’t, think it would have looked tacky and, once the novelty’s worn of, dated.

You can see the pattern in the bricks, it's just not as pronounced as people were expecting. It's there though.

Just never understood the obsession/fascination with a bit of a cross cross panelling ?

I don't think it's an obsession or anything. They've been part of Goodison for decades, so it's more sentiment to that. It makes us remember our history which we sing about all the time..

The photos and videos don't do it justice, it's fucking huge when you see it in the flesh.

Not easy to see from the outside, most of the entrances are fenced off, went to a good entrance but the wee jobsworth on security wouldn't even let ne in a few feet to get a decent photo.

Really looking forward to going there now though.

I remember back in the day when you wanted to change season ticket seats, you could physically go and have a mooch. Some bloke would be with you that had all the details of the available seats.

In today's age of online "view from your seats" (despite them always being AR/CGI shite) I can't imagine we will get to visit Bramley Moore to pick our new seats.

But I'd absolutely love it if we could

A friend of mine got to go walk around the brand new stadium in LA when buying his season tickets for the Chargers, so you may get that chance there.
