Not subbing on Ashley Young's kid was really a bit mental too.
Really couldn't have given him a couple of minutes at the end?

You know what, I'm just happy to have seen Baines and Coleman together on the touchline.
(No, I wouldn't want them do it full time but for just this one occasion it was nice.)

They trot out “the romance of the FA Cup” lines all through these third round games, but they’ve just proved it’s a pack of bollocks.blueToffee wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 10:10 pm Not subbing on Ashley Young's kid was really a bit mental too.

Was really hoping for an emphatic performance and win.

We all feel like that masked man stroking the photograph (in that gif), don't we?
I kind of want him to get Wednesday, too. I know that's insane. But the heart wants what it wants.

Ferguson the elder always struck me as a right cunt, the apple probably didn't fall far from the tree (in that aspect).

He was good at it 20-15 years ago, plus I doubt that would even be his department these days

I was at the game tonight, thought the change in formation was definitely called for and helped Patto & Myko get forward more, albeit against a pretty poor team and both need to improve massively in the final third. But we didn't really give them any chances and overall we played well. Just have to see how we do against Prem opposition now
Re: Everton v Peterborough
Swap Myko for Harrison or McNeil I think. Myko depresses me.JoelW7 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 11:38 pm I was at the game tonight, thought the change in formation was definitely called for and helped Patto & Myko get forward more, albeit against a pretty poor team and both need to improve massively in the final third. Everyone deserved to see Young Jr skin his Dad for pace and then get bonneted followed by a playful tap on the shoulder and a yellow card brandished with smiles all round
And then a cheeky bid for him by The Friedys!
