The Rebuild
Re: The Rebuild
I should add that Dovbyk is smaller than Beto and Barry so less of a target for long balls.
Although I do expect that Moyes wants to use Ndiaye, Grealish, and possibly Dibling to do the “target man” work of holding the ball up rather than a big CF.

Re: The Rebuild
Branthwaite out might force us to go for Maitland Niles or another RB. So JOB can move into the middle

Re: The Rebuild
I think we were always planning on getting someone in, but maybe we were trying to do other deals first and see what was left. We were linked with Kellen Fisher from Norwich just a few days ago for instance.OldEnglandToffee wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 5:00 pm Branthwaite out might force us to go for Maitland Niles or another RB. Anyhow, yeah this probably does put a fire under them to act on that position. Maybe we can do a deal by the end of the week even to include them in the squad by Monday...unlikely but who knows.
Re: The Rebuild
I heard that the reason the dugouts at Bramley-Moore are on the opposite side to Goodison is because we couldn't see our right hand side.

Re: The Rebuild
It was:
1) RW
2) RB
3) DM
4) ST
5) utility full back
2 and 5 have just jumped up a spot for me

Re: The Rebuild
Buy a right back who can play right wing and we'll be alright for a bit and I'll consider it a very good window. Without one it's been decent.

Re: The Rebuild
Agent probably going around checking in case anyone is interested?
There was a link a few hours ago to him joining Palace on a short term deal.
Re: The Rebuild
Vardy would be a good third forward for injury emergencies and throwing the kitchen sink on to grab an equalizer.

Re: The Rebuild
First 6 minutes are about our transfer window so far. Nothing really we haven’t said ourselves, but it’s some Everton content, so…

Re: The Rebuild
Bobble days we still want:
Dibling, with Hutchinson an alternative.
Douglas Luiz but he's still waiting for a club in Europe
A right back (experienced)
Another striker (experienced)
And still looking at more loans on top of that
