In the US, NFL games that don't sell out are subject to local TV blackout. Due to that NFL teams usually donate unsold tickets to charities, hopefully something like that can be done at the Dicky.

Whether it was the resale platform not working properly or the corporate seats not selling out I don't know but if they can't fill the first game it's going to become a struggle especially over the winter. Just a shame that so many people missed out on the ballot but were then priced out of seats or didn't know they were still available when they could have had a seat. The Premium Exclusive sold out but I think the Club View were still available and a lot of the more expensive hospitality seats were too. I guess they'll just need to tinker with the pricing until they can get a balance.
Yeah the stand the dug out is on, there were big clusters of empty seats. Its fucking mad actually, are they the posh seats too?

Seat Unique seats are the opposite stand to the dug out arent they?

Said to Ste how sad it is, the amount of people who couldnt get a ticket, you would be FUMING to see empty seats.

I thought the official attendance had been reduced to under 52k during the test events for access requirements?

I was late up. No screens or announcements on the concourse meant I had no idea what was happening

The official capacity was reduced but only by 119 seats.

I've got my Dad and I some 'premium' tickets for the Palace game a 3pm kick off. Struggling a bit to see the premium in it, that £10 voucher definately swung it! It's his 75th birthday soon and a few years ago he had a blockage in his ticker, a 99% blocked widowmaker, we are lucky he is still here and fuck it I couldn't risk the ballot.

We can take it bit easier on a Saturday and find his stone I got him and chill a bit, of course the first thing he says is it a night game

Maybe next time old man, maybe next time.

Thing is we don’t have local Tv like you guys, it’s Sky or TNt.

I think it's likely to move from the Saturday mate, if Palace win their qualifier they'll have a conference league game on the Thursday so can't play Saturday.

They'll just be waiting for the 2nd leg of their qualifier to take place this week before rearranging

Thing is many of those tickets are not unsold, they can be ST holders that just don’t turn up or corporates that don’t turn up.

Pretty sure they'll be unsold, Club View tickets were avaialble and I doubt anyone would shell out for corporate then not turn up.

Then why aren't they on sale on the website?

They weren't unsold tickets..... cos they'd be snapped up immediately.

Obviously some will be people who couldn't make it for whatever reason but they're not just going to put £200+ tickets or corporate seats on general sale at normal prices.

Mansfield ticket just showed up in the app. Had an email 10 minutes ago thanking me for my membership (Not amateur at all) and the £15 stated in the email but nothing linked in it, so assumed the club were trying and failing to allocate tickets via email
