Some players looked a bit raw but liked some of the moments from O'Brien and Ndiaye in the second half. O'Brien looked as he had a little pace too which would be a nice addition to the back line.

Didn't see much of the first half sadly, so I don't really know how a lot of his general play was, but would be nice if Lindstrom gave us a new free kick option as that is something we've sorely missed.
Yes BlueToffee welcome back.

We did well but Preston were pretty shite, we didn't exert a lot of pressure but some good passages of play.

Some nice goals J.O.B looks like Branthwaite MK2 and I thought Tim was very good, a few misplaced passes but looks a player and could link well with Gana.

J.O.B and Branners will be a nightmare at set pieces in the opposition box.

A nice day out in Preston with the old man and good run out for the lads and a win, doesn't get much better than that.

Probably at Finch Farm as it is a training game but more details may come out before the game on Tuesday.

I can see us playing 3 at the back a little more this year against the top sides.

Imagine JB, JOB and Tark in the box on set pieces. That’s a serious threat.

Just gives us another option and more depth in a vital position.

Be interesting to see if Patterson could play wingback, think it would suit him at this stage of his career.

With balls of decent quality going into the box from set pieces, those three could cause absolute mayhem. Could potentially be looking at 15+ goals between them over the course of a season, which would be a really decent return.

Slightly less defensive responsibility, more freedom to go on the rampage using his pace and aggression. I think you’re right.

Looks like Lindstrom is the Siggurdsson replacement we’ve been crying out for.

Does anybody know if there is any footage of the new boys from yesterday anywhere? Highlights seems to be a 2 min clip of goals only.

When he scored his goal, he was in a great position for the knockdown, and it just looked natural to him. A bit like Tark is in the opposition box, he just knew where to be and how to act.

JB will only become more dangerous as he becomes more experienced in how to use his 6ft 5 frame. I think there are more goals for him this year for sure.

Should be aiming for 20 goals from set pieces again this year (19 last year). Arsenal topped the set piece goal table at 20 with City at 16 and so it proves that it is a big part of any teams offensive tactics.

It’s in open play where we were so poor last year and have to improve our xG next season.

With a happier ending hopefully. Looked a Sheedy type free kick too :D
