There always used to be a mid table team that dropped like a stone towards the drop zone. Maybe Spurs are that team. West Ham could still falter. Doesn't really seem to be much of a thing anymore though. The 3 promoted teams have generally struggled to stay up recently.Gary1878 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 12:52 pm In relegation terms, we are in a good position. 4 points over 18th with a game in hand and better GD. Can’t let that go to waste and need to push on and clear ourselves of any relegation battle.
Would be great to get to the final few games at Goodison and not worry about a threat of relegation. That has to be the aim. Leave it to that bottom 4 to slug it out and catch the pack above us.

Spurs are just being mismanaged into the ground with some super idealistic way of approaching football that doesn’t factor in what actually happens during a season and in individual games.Big Nevs Vaz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 1:41 pm There always used to be a mid table team that dropped like a stone towards the drop zone. They have a ton of injuries, likely created by their managers tactics, which has left them almost defenceless in matches. And then he has kept the same tactics, despite only having an 18 year old midfielder and Ben Davies at the back. Dragusin also looked really uncomfortable. Really enjoying it though. Can’t stand Spurs.

Once they get some back from injuries they should be fine but long may these struggles continue! Makes for great watching and takes some of the heat off us for a change.Gary1878 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 1:47 pm Spurs are just being mismanaged into the ground with some super idealistic way of approaching football that doesn’t factor in what actually happens during a season and in individual games.

Yeah, I specifically remember beating them 3-0 and Cahill putting Xabi Alonso in a headlock.

I always assumed Moyes signed Kev because I just associate Kev with good vibes at the match.
