Your head tells you it will be a standard defeat but then agin they have stumbled past few weeks so with a bit of luck something might happen.
This will the bar we measure by in the future - whether or not we still shit the bed against the big boys.

Once that air of inevitability stops hanging over games like this - we’ll know we’ve made real progress.

Funny that some feel there is an air of inevitability, I always feel we can beat Arsenal at home regardless of how good/bad we/they are.

I must forget all the times we've been pummeled at home against them. Always feel like a backs to the wall 1-0 could be on the cards.

Do think the squad is looking weak with Ndiaye, Gueye, , KDH, and Branthwaite out. 4 guaranteed starters is tough to deal with.

If we are to have any chance we need Tim to somehow produce an accomplished performance, as our midfield is going to be really weak without KDH and Gana.

Need Myko to find his form defensively as he's been woeful this season but is usually a really solid 1v1 defender, and him against Saka is going to be a key battle.

I expect nothing from this game so anything at all beyond that is a bonus.

Grealish and Röhl available.

Sounds like KDH isn't far away.

Also, looking likely that Harrison Armstrong could well be recalled.

He said something along the lines of he’s doing alright when asked about KDH.

“Do you have a timescale?”

He was asked

“We do, but I’m not telling you” Moyes replied. So could be anything

I’d rather let Armstrong stay there and play every week and win lots of games
