Haha, I’ve had purple sprouting broccoli a lot this week, actually (no euphemism)

Even went a bit maverick and mixed it with tenderstem, and did it all in the air fryer with baby plum tomatoes, courgette, and little sweet peppers, and also did chicken breasts marinated in red chillies, fresh mint, coriander, dill, parsley, sage, thyme, marjoram, basil, smoked paprika, garlic, onion powder, olive oil, pink rock salt & multi-coloured pepper, with a whey and casein white chocolate shake on the side, and lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon and ginger in warm water (gut & immune health powerhouse)

What’s everyone else having for lunch?

Mangala, Nuamah and a RB in, Holgate out and it'd have been a great window in my eyes.

Realistically, I don't think we'd bring all 3 in and the links seem to have gone cold. My heart says I'd love another wide player but my head says we've probably got as much cover as we're going to have there, and if bringing in a RB means Ashley Young is reduced to reserve LB duty then I'd likely prioritise that.

I've been against DCL going all window and now would be an awful time to get rid, no matter how much we're offered. The only way it'd be okay is if we could somehow hijack the Osimhen or Toney (or similar) deals, as incredibly unlikely as they'd be.

You can have Toney if you pay Brentford £50million and Toney £350k a week which is what he’s getting in Saudi.

Little fella having his nap, eldest about to go back the pool with her mum.

At about 16:00 ish (Spain time) I will start the BBQ, hot dogs, chicken fillets, and pork kebabs. Two fresh baguettes serving as hot dog buns once chopped up. Nobody else had a burger last time so swerving the burgers.

Then the girls will return, little fella will be woken up and put into his new Lamine Yamal Spain top (€20 luckylucky special) and we'll have a Barbie outside, with a few glasses of either bubbly or don Simon for the chef, then over to the pool for 18:00-19:00 (little guy promised the slide) before home and quick change for mini disco and the show, and hopefully a glass of red for brap.

Loving this itinerary.

Also, fresh baguettes over hot dog buns elevates this meal massively.

We’re taking chipolatas (the youngest two aren’t fans of frankfurters, fair play tbh) camping on Sunday night (bell tent provided, I can’t do that putting up a tent madness) and I would’ve swapped out the hog dog buns for baguettes, but I’ve got a couple of veneers, so gotta be careful.

Yeah, I was using those more as examples, really, as the kind of player we'd need, rather than going for someone like Fofana.

Every now and then we'll hear a report saying we're considering offering a certain amount for a player. Likely BS but if we could swap DCL + whatever we can cobble together, it may increase the bracket of player we're able to look at and we wouldn't really be losing him for nothing.

Again, though, it's all pie in the sky and we're talking massive hypotheticals, so it's probably just easier to keep DCL and either sell/replace in January, wait until next summer or see if he accepts the contract in the meantime.

I’am doing meatballs stuffed with mozzarella as I pack the rest of my stuff for Greece on Sunday.

Happy to see Brap is busy. Hopefully he’ll leave me alone for the rest of the evening.

Toffee TV said earlier that they've heard Nuamah has chosen Fulham over us.
