Also, there was the Dan Gosling game even though it was in the cup.

His Anfield record and general derby record were horrible though.

I’m hoping he’s developed a few new tricks to cope with tough matches.

I'm pretty sure when his West ham side beat Arsenal at the Emirates that was his first win away against the traditional "big four"? Could be wrong though

He could barely win at Old Trafford when he managed United.

His record at better teams grounds is abhorrent - his home form against them marginally better.

He's managed 254 games against Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and City. He has won 53. 20%.

Considering some of those games where when he was United manager and that Spurs and City have been terrible for a decent chunk of his management career - it leads me to think it's probably worth writing off that game in hand.

Gap is getting bigger all the time. I don't hold out much hope of an improvement second time around.

Yeah I predict at best 2pts gained against Liverpool during the next 2.5yrs. Happily take one of those next month and the other as the first ever derby in the new ground.

Moyes won three home League games against Liverpool:

2004: 1-0
2006: 3-0
2010: 2-0

Would be very nice if it's like this at full time, 6 ahead of Wolves and 7 above relegation.

If somebody would have suggested we were going to be 1 and 2 p behind Spurs and Utd after 22 games at the beginning of the season everyone would assume our season being a great a success :snigger:
