Me included. Fair play he's smashing it now, and we've fallen even further since he was a possibility.

Why tho?

Can I just draw your attention to our club motto?

Nothing but the best is good enough.

I am grateful for what Dyche has done for us so far - nice one mate I’ll buy you a pint - but I do not believe he is the best thing for us right now, nor is he the best we can get right now, either.

Forest has spent about 250M on players since they last came up. So, there's that.

We were the worst run club in the league. We were all talking about just surviving financial disaster. Nothing but the best didn't apply

Not sure we are his biggest fans just because we are arguing he's done a good job here and he's not inept.

I would imagine most fans of other clubs would say the same.

You can't argue with people like him mate, he's just a WUM who feeds off us replying to him... Just ignore him, he's got nothing valid to say.

You do wonder how all these top teams achieve so much when they don't even have a motto.

It's not necessarily about who is the best we can get right now though... We all want a change, literally every single person on here wants a different manager to be in charge when the first ball at BMD is kicked.

It's just about ensuring that when we make the change we give ourselves the best chance of getting the right person.

Someone with a radically different style of play and a set philosophy might not be a great appointment right now but would be amazing in the summer. Someone like Moyes might end up getting the job if we changed now.

If you gave everyone the opportunity to change to the perfect manager right now who could get these players playing well and then rebuild in the summer it's a unanimous vote for doing that, I'd absolutely snap your hand off for it.

But the reality is the best time to do all this is the summer or towards the end of the season if we're safe. We don't waste money on paying Dyche off, we don't limit ourselves to just those willing to take a job mid season, and we don't risk bringing someone in who needs time to bed in and get their philosophy across.

Nothing but the best is still a very long way away, we need to slowly build the foundations to progress from. The ideal way to achieve that is to see the season through and not make any major changes until it's the best time to do so if possible.

I want next season to be fantastic, and making the right decisions at the right time imo is key for that to happen.

It is possible to take into account the state of the club, and dyches job overall, whilst being critical of him this season.

I don't think Nuno bought any of them. He just knows how to use them maybe?

Yea definitely, we should be higher up than we are, he spent too long trying to play McNeil as the 10 and Doucoure in a midfield two which has been really costly. Even 5 more points should have been achievable and that would have us in 14th with 8 points above the relegation zone.

There's no doubt he hasn't managed to kick us on this season, and we can point to specific things he's not done or done that have cost us.

Absolutely but I don't think it's possible to be too critical of him given the state of the club.
