I really don't see it like that, that is a super super common meme on twitter and it elicits basically zero response in me re: terror, murder etc.

However I'm v happy to leave this there and not talk about this stuff again. Was genuinely surprised at the responses in this thread and It's not something I feel super passionate about so I don't wanna be dragging anyone over it!

I have to admit I laughed, but not at the construction of the meme, at how he felt a couple of goals in preseason against Motherwell was worth making a big deal over.

For me that meme is about Bush’s ineptitude more than 9/11 but I understand how others can feel differently. Also the timing is off. It’s not too soon to make jokes about 9/11 (that’s how some people heal and deal) but with what’s happening on the streets right now it is a bit off.
