I'm still currently a 'no'.

Can move to a yes v easily but he does have to show a bit more

I think you missed the part where he is a no brainer. 😉

I genuinely don't know how anyone can be a no at the price. We are going to have an amazing window if we consistently sign better value elsewhere

Because he hasn't done anything.

Just take a longer look without obligation. Where does he even fit into this team?

Wide? 10? 8?

Dunno. Let's see!

He has played in almost every position except something like GK and LB over his career. So either he's extremely adaptable, or his former coaches haven't known where best to play him either. Maybe an 8, not wide.

Definitely an 8 from what we’ve seen. Think he’s worth a punt, he’s not done a great deal, but he’s done nothing wrong.
We won’t lose on this deal.

He's not a wide player, wish Moyes would stop trying to shoehorn him on the left. Just bring Doucoure or Garner off for him.

Always thought artetas best football came when he was on the right.

That little shimmy he did to cut inside was great.

Osman strangely seemed to get better as he got older in the middle of the park.

Even towards the end of his career he could run a game from centre mid which is wild considering how small and slow he was.

Osman doesn't get enough credit for joining in and forming part of a silky triumvirate with Baines and Pienaar on that left side. Bainaarman if you will.

Osman even earned a couple of England caps quite late in his career if I’m correct?

Signed a 4 year deal today apparently after we agreed to the deal with his club.

Rightly so too, no doubt in my mind at all.
