He's just never improved or taken his chance when given it. His first touch is shocking for a professional player

If we had more of a counterattacking system built around McNeil and Ndiaye picking up the ball between the midfield and defensive lines and looking to play in the centre forward, he’d probably be useful.

Definitely the wrong man for all of the back-to-goal, physical battles Dyche asks his CF to win.

If this man isn’t in Turkey by next year then we will all know the woke mob have truly ruined our game.

How do we get so many so wrong. Weve signed numerous players for relatively big money that have proved to be levels and levels below premier league football

In fairness, the £20m we paid for Beto is probably equal to a £5m punt about 15 years ago.

Shame for the Cherminator that he got injured because he'd be 2nd choice now for sure.

His profile absolutely reeked of bad buy. Was not having this one last summer at all.

With that said, I do think he could have a future this level in a system that understands that he’s a pacy poacher type in a target man’s body, like a poor man’s Lukaku.

He’ll likely be on to his next club abroad before he gets that chance, unfortunately.

Once Broja is fit Beto won't get on the pitch even for 5 mins. Reckon he'll be out on loan come January with the hope of getting him off the books in the summer.

I think udinese where the only club willing to accept our offer of deferring the payments to the next financial year.

That's the type of market we where in.

Had he been properly scouted I don't think we would have gone near him.

Serious concerns if whoever was responsible for bringing him here is going to have anything to do with our ‘rebuild’

I’m not sure the “Can we buy your starting striker but not pay you until next year” market has much choice

Dont mind a big strong fast guy who gets shots off.

It's a shame but it looks like dyche has made his mind up and I don't think he's far wrong.

Strikers are the toughest buy. If you talk to any team they will tell you how many flops or floopyish strikers they’ve had. Not to mention strikers that look like world beaters for a season and then look as floppy as a 5.25 incher

Has given up hopes of representing Portugal and made himself available for Guinea Bissau. Means we will lose him to the Africa Cup of Nations this month.

Anyone know when Broja is due to return to fitness?

Probably not a great sign re: his current career trajectory
