Tickets (News and Issues)
Re: Tickets
Anyone else got their season tickets on their Google Wallet getting pretty much daily update messages on it? Mine updated to show Villa as the next game on them a week or so ago, but I've been getting loads of message notifications saying the tickets been updated again since then.
Not an issue as they've both been showing the Villa game since the initial update, just a bit weird.

Re: Tickets
Saw this discussed elsewhere, it seems the option to do it has been removed totally and the only thing you can do is list your ticket for resale.
Re: Tickets
Absolutely fucking shite.
So you can’t actually sell your ticket anymore, just get a credit so that money goes back into the club.
They’ll move towards taking season tickets away from people who put them on resale eventually.

Re: Tickets
I think in the future a lot of people will just buy a shit phone to put their season ticket on and pass it around
Re: Tickets
Actually @Escalator I've just logged in to my ticketing account and I've got options for both resale and forward to a friend there now. The forward to a friend option was not there when I last checked, so maybe it's a bug they've now fixed.
Looking at it the forward to a friend seems to give you the choice of forwarding it to someone in your network, or looking up someone else by their membership number so perhaps it's a bit better than expected. Would defo be easier to transfer the ticket to people off here for example if you're not needing to add them to your friends and family network.

Re: Tickets
No, I think they love people who put their tickets on resale.
Give them credit pro-rata, but sell it full price.
Makes them more money.
Re: Tickets
Great, thanks, will try it !Risky wrote: ↑Tue Sep 02, 2025 12:43 pm Actually @Escalator I've just logged in to my ticketing account and I've got options for both resale and forward to a friend there now. Re: Tickets
The money doesn’t go back to the club, it stays in your account, you’re going to use it for your next season ticket or stuff from the shop or cup ticket eventually aren’t you ?
Re: Tickets
Don't they give you back 1/19th of your season ticket price? They sell on the resale for more than that
Re: Tickets
Yes, they give you back what you paid which I think is fair enough, wouldn’t expect a profit share on whatever they re sell it for.
Re: Tickets (News and Issues)
The only thing I'm not clear on is if I transfer my son's child season ticket to an adult, it'll need to be upgraded to an adult ticket at a cost. Not sure I've seen how that works yet, unless anyone else has figured it out?
Re: Tickets (News and Issues)
In the “old days” you just went to the box office and paid the difference, and they gave you a paper ticket, don’t know about now ?
Re: Tickets
Already happening, most of the people that sat around me in the Park End had worked that one out before the end of last season. I've already met a few in the North Stand who've done it as well. I imagine there must be a fair few doing this if I know so many.
