Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
Wasn't great and it shows our passing remains an issue. Bournemouth's was crisp and accurate and when they pressed we struggled to pass through it. 2 of the goals were from horror shows, but put into perspective, we need better players end of

Green shoots.
Yup, we looked green and certainly shot ourselves in the foot a fair few times

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
As soon as Bournemouth brought 5 subs on I turned off as I knew we didn't have 5 subs. We were 2 down and they brought subs on we stuck with same players for another 15 minutes. Not sure who Moyes could have brought on to relpace what was already on the pitch.
Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
Seems stupid to say but this West Ham feels a bit important short-term? It was pretty clear Moyes wasn't happy with the second half against Bournemouth in spite of the lack of players. Obviously it's still a friendly, but if we get comfortably beaten again then I could see Moyes losing his rag.
Luckily it's West Ham.

When the stadium designs came out I said there’s loads more scope for more Everton Firsts - first team to have lifeguards, first team to have ball boys in a boat…Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Tue Jul 29, 2025 9:36 pm Ah ok that makes sense then yeah.

Are we likely to have any CBs for tonight? Trying to decide whether to try and grab some kip early on to watch this.

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
Defo be a depressing defeat tonight, we seem to be the least prepared side in the league for the season to start as per usual. Grim

You just wonder, will we ever, ever just happen to get it right for once?
