New Kit
Re: New Kit
That’s weird, the un sponsored one will surely be the most popular, why would anyone pay an extra £35 quid to have that horrible stake logo on it ? Think they got that wrong but definitely in the favour of those shirt buying supporters.
Re: New Kit
Unfortunately once you put a shit pattern on the shirt you lose the ability to add any additional trim around the sleeves and side panels.
They could have made the pattern much more subtle and added other elements but instead went for just a big block of blue with some clip art waves all over.
It's utterly shit imo.

Re: New Kit
I only buy a shirt every two or three years and only if I like one of them, I bought the third shirt last season but I won't be bothering with this one. I know the waves are meant to represent the banks of the Mersey for the ground but I don't think it works and on top of that the price for a shirt these days is a fucking disgrace. I wouldn't buy a Ralph Lauren top I didn't like at the price so I'm not buying a football shirt at that price either.

Re: New Kit
I'm sure we hire whoever designed the Chelsea kit in the days before they got the money to design our kits.

Don’t talk soft, you could easily add white trim to that.AjaxAndy wrote:Unfortunately once you put a shit pattern on the shirt you lose the ability to add any additional trim around the sleeves and side panels.

Re: New Kit
You could get Ralph Lauren or Tom Ford to design a kit and it would still be shite, can’t remember the last kit that was ever met with approval, it’s the nature of the beast, am never really bothered as have never bought a shirt and unlikely ever to do so until we reach a cup final of some sort or another.MayorFarnham wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 9:45 am I'm sure we hire whoever designed the Chelsea kit in the days before they got the money to design our kits.

Re: New Kit
Not really bothered. I don't buy them anymore. I'm more concerned that we have players who can win games.
Re: New Kit
Was hoping we might get Umbro on the kit, like Rangers. Does seem at least that the fuss around Castore's quality control has died down a bit, not heard anything about their other teams or F1, cricket etc., albeit a new kit release will always bring some relatively minor problems.
Carlisle's new 90s Umbro kit is ace by the way, pass it on.

I was just going to post that about Carlisle's shirt and under £50 as well.Trowel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 10:55 am Was hoping we might get Umbro on the kit, like Rangers.
