Yeah still a long way to go, but if they were to get the win tonight they got wolves at home saturday and win that and that's them 9 points in front of spurs, and there's no way spurs will be catching them

Incredible piece of commentary to hear neville say pretty much the same as you then see the ball hit the net.

Leeds are nearly safe if it stays like this. What stays up do we think, 39pts maybe. Spurs are quickly running out of road here…
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
I remember being genuinely sad when it seemed like we were going down. Maybe the Europa League win will take the edge of it for them whereas never being relegated (PL) and the top flight seasons are one of the few things we have!

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
IF Leeds can see this out, and I'd probably need to them to get a third to be more confident, with Leeds' home games vs Wolves and Burnley yet to come you'd have to imagine they'd be all but safe.
Would be down to one of Forest, West Ham and Spurs.
Spurs are in the worst form right now, but West Ham's run in is pretty tough (Palace away, Us at home, Brentford away, Arsenal at home, Newcastle away, Leeds at home) and Forest's isn't that much better especially if they keep going in the EL. Going to be really close, I doubt any of the three are going to be picking up too many points. 39 likely would be enough, could even be a lot less.

Oh man, what a let off. Should be 3 there.

Carrick might not get the job after all if they finish the season tailing off at all. Especially with Glasner and Iraola looking for jobs this summer.
