I saw something the other day, can't remember where but probably YouTube about Liverpool and the headline was 'Built not Bought'.
Makes me laugh how they spend all this money and still somehow think they're not buying their success, absolutely baffling.
Just a deluded entitled fanbase
Like the 'This means more' stuff... If that's the case then why are Newcastle and Palace fans going absolutely nuts in cup finals this season whilst your fans sit holding their scarves?
Who knows which way it goes, but I think some of the signings that look like they're getting are potentially building them into a team who could sadly challenge for the title for a few years to come.
They were rather lucky this season with how Man City fell down a hole, I saw them so many times this season look pretty bang average and got over the line with a Salah moment or some such. Last few seasons that would've been a team who came second or third when Arsenal were on form. They won the title though and now are taking advantage of that win and building a team that might actually be more worthy of being consistently toward the top.
On the other hand, I do think VVD is looking worse and Salah could well dip from his performances this season so reason for optimism too I suppose.
We'll see but I think their targets so far are adding quality and that's generally a bad thing.

everything fell in place for the shite this season - it was basically klopps team
the only addition from slot was chiesa - what a complete failure he was so a good sign that slot isnt that good on choosing transfers
city + arsenal way stronger next season
and slot doesnt understand or get the english cup competitions - he failed there too
lpool rely too much on salah and vvd and if they get injured their performances drop like a stone
hopefully slot is a one hit season wonder who will fail like the rest of his dutch fellow countrymen as managers in the prem and heres to a grim poor next season for the shite
Think they'll bin off a few Nunez Elliot, attacking wise they'll be a threat but the defence this season and onwards is not the best , all depends on the Milos Kerkez deals etc . Could even have keeper issues the this new keeper coming in. Net spend fc will be fully operational
