Re: Wilfried Gnonto
Like last year, this is the signing I am most excited about. Really hope this finally goes through!
Re: Wilfried Gnonto
Everything is much slower, without 'Contract Dave'.
Also we can't be doing multiple deals as the United Twitter accounts won't be able to cope with their need to comment and their faux outrage.

Can’t be arsed - when you do it day in day out the last thing you want to do is correct mistakes in your holidays

Re: Wilfried Gnonto
ffs was getting all excited about possible gnonto deal until i saw that
ps
newcastle have gordon and barnes on the left wingers and also almiron on the right - surely thats them covered
Re: Wilfried Gnonto
Almiron is absolutely shit so they'd definitely be better with Gnoto instead.Evertonfc15 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 7:32 am ffs was getting all excited about possible gnonto deal until i saw that

Re: Wilfried Gnonto
must admit almiron not the best but has has just signed a new contract till 2026 - eddie howe clearly likes the player
it would improve their squad if gnonto goes there but if gnonto came to us.............

Re: Wilfried Gnonto
We were probably trying to do to Leeds what United were doing to us with Brainthwaite. We wont pay what they want so we have walked.
The Summerville sale will have made them able to hold out for more on Gnoto.
I imagine we will sign another wide player but it might be late on in the window.
