He’s a character isn’t he.

Crowd was fully behind him today, the manager made the right call by starting him and was full of praise in the press conference.

This is creating the right environment. Let him miss chances and act like a bit of a tit because he’s young, but just play him and get behind him as a club and we’ll get the best out of him.

Everything stuck with him today but it wasn’t just that. He took it in right spaces and showed some great pieces of skill and lovely touches to bring others into play and it made us a lot better because the trust was there.

We we able to ping balls to him knowing it would stick.

They just don’t bother with beto anymore and it causes us to slow down so much.

Reminds me of another sulky striker, currently wearing white, who acts dissapointed with a scowl on, slowly trudging off, but is really winding down the clock and managing to avoid the refs ire by doing it.

They both love a show.

Moyes played this one nicely yesterday. That extra few mins he got after the 60min swap mark will have done the kid the world of good.

The difference he made today in the over all general play is like night and day compared to Beto.

The chest down to KDH was lovely, holds it up a lot better.

His goal will come and he will improve over all as the season goes on. Just be patient with him.

Was reading on reddit about him. He had a slow start in both of his previous clubs and was considered a dud initially, but then he levelled up and started scoring freely.

He's definitely better than Beto in every department other than scoring currently, just needs to get his confidence back in front of the goal

He’s getting there. What worked for him in other leagues will not necessarily work for him in the PL so we have an adjustment period. Adapt and overcome, as they say.

The Barry train will shortly be arriving at Sandhills station. Merseyrail would like to apologise for the initial delay and just remind all passengers that absence makes the heart grow fonder.
