Re: Jack Grealish
He's not one of the best attacking players in the world like.
He's just a top class footballer who has great technical ability and huge football intelligence, and he makes everybody else better on the pitch. Exactly the cherry on the cake we needed. Almost any team in the league would benefit from having him.

Literally one of the best players in the league.
Do we really have the best left winger in the prem?

Re: Jack Grealish
He's another Gareth Barry like surprise for me, I got he's good before he came but you watch him regularly and it's just another level.
Re: Jack Grealish
Was coming on to say this. James was great, but the rest of the team had to carry him. Grealish is just as good technically but also gets stuck in.TheRam wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 4:32 pm He’s miles better than James imo.
James was a pure luxury signing. Could do great things with the ball but couldn’t run.
Grealish is putting in 90 minutes, playing against Mansfield and looks the fittest player on the pitch.
That’s without the quality on the ball.
Four assists already. Fucking lol.
Think he'll comfortably be the best player ive seen live in my lifetime by the end of the season.
Re: Jack Grealish
Wasn't comparing him directly to James.
Just more the feeling that we missed out seeing a talent that was truly international.
They've been few and far between. The versions of Lukaku and Rooney we had count.
There were little moments you could see it with Eto'o (still can't believe he played for us).
But the well runs dry then. We'd argue all day long for Baines and Coleman, but we'd be having an argument with people about it.

Re: Jack Grealish
He's made such a difference to our way of playing and has helped transform the midfielders, like Garner. Happy days

Re: Jack Grealish
I think he's already rediscovering his love for the game here.
I can definitely see it turning into a two year loan, and then we assess him at the end of that and sign him on a free (or not), depending on his levels at that time.

Re: Jack Grealish
A masterclass today, he could have bondage straps on and still look top drawer, we are blessed.
Re: Jack Grealish
Might depend on how much of a nuisance we make of ourselves near the top half of the table, City might not fancy competing with Jack for league placings.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 5:55 pm I think he's already rediscovering his love for the game here.
