Re: The Friedkin Group
Dan is so interested in Everton that hes never shown his arse at either ground. Feels like we have lost our soul with this lot. But would feel the same with any new owner.
Re: The Friedkin Group
Do we need them to show up?
They have stabilised the club, released funds for players and by and large kept their noses out.
It is up to the Chief Exec and board to show competence and deliver operationally.

Yeah, I don’t care if he shows up or not.
I don’t need to hear from board members or the chief execs either.
Just want us run like a club that has ambition to achieve things.
I’ve not got that feeling at all since they took over.

The Friedkin Group
They’ve rescued the club it was never about emotion for them it’s purely business and one they will flip for huge profit. We should be thankful for that after Moshiri and very nearly that cowboy Josh Wander. This isn’t the Kenwright era with uncle Bills emotions anymore, football has changed. We’ve had a season of stability after flirting for relegation for years, it’s ain’t changing overnight

Re: The Friedkin Group
I just don’t get it with us.
These are billion pound businesses with global revenue streams, diverse commercial appeal and a product that scales.
We seem to continuously place people into key positions who seem woefully under qualified and under prepared to make the right decisions and take advantage of the position we are in.
I wouldn’t choose this club if it wasn’t chosen for me before I was born.

Re: The Friedkin Group
It's the back of the main stand which you wouldn't see in any 'crowd scenes' the photos are genuine.
Re: The Friedkin Group
It must be fucking exhausting being Escla, looking for conspiracy everywhere.
Re: The Friedkin Group
Same, I hope we never see them.
I hope we see the results of their work.
So far, goose egg.
Re: The Friedkin Group
IT's the parts of the upper tiers that are covered with the canvas banners isn't it?#
Not sure what people would want them to do, tart it up to sit empty and need covering anyway?
Moshiri was a lunatic with no idea of the value of money. His plans for Goodison were as financially daft as his plans for Bramley Moore. But, fair play, he was planning on just eating the cost because it was the "right" thing to do.
However, that lack of awareness of value is why we came so very, very, very close to the actual brink. We've now got owners that seem to know the value of every cent they spend and my gut feeling is that they want to make us self-sufficient to the point money can be extracted through either a sale or via dividends/standard ROI mechanisms.
The only thing we have to cling onto for hope is that for them to maximise their returns year-on-year, we need to be more and more successful every year.

Re: The Friedkin Group
As much as its all still very dull and some of new people dont look great at least we are safe now. We were fearing going down and bust. We'd have been delighted with this level of boredom and misery before they took over
Re: The Friedkin Group
Very true - i also think it's true of the team on the pitch as well.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2026 12:16 pm As much as its all still very dull and some of new people dont look great at least we are safe now. We've definitely had a dive in quality season-on-season for the last decade, but there is a lag between "new commercial revenue streams" and increased spending. Despite that, if you squint, you can just make out the start of a decent group of young players forming.

Re: The Friedkin Group
I still think it’s very early to be judging success for the club when you think about where we were very recently.
However the seats thing at Goodison is a fucking disgrace whichever way you look at it.
