Today's Football 2025-26
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
No excuses for Guardiola, he has all the resources in the world. Now things aren't going his way again, it's another opportunity to show us he is actually is "tactical genius" this season. Something he failed to do last year.
Going into last season with pretty much zero full backs was criminal and doesn't get spoken about enough. It's a huge oversight by "one of the greatest managers of all time". Also the way he came across last season was a disgrace at times, that mask soon slipped.
The funny thing is Arteta just seems to copy him and will end up with the same issues. Which annoyingly, IMO, hands Liverpool the title again this year.

Feels like it’s a pretty big game as Man City don’t seem at it again. Chelsea don’t look title challengers either despite all the spending unless they sign a keeper and maybe another CB.Sir Stealth wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 2:45 pm Could be a bad day in the title race today I fear. City aren’t at it
That Arsenal line up doesn’t fill me with confidence, can see them taking a morale bashing hiding
You can’t bet against Liverpool being spawny but I kinda fancy Arsenal to bore them then sneak a win.
If Liverpool win it’s already going to look a bit ominous, particularly if Isak does end up there.

They may yet get Donnarumma, feels like it’s either Pep with another project trying to convert him to a ball playing keeper despite all evidence…or he’s just trying to push Ederson out as I doubt Donnarumma comes in if he’s still there.

Good day for us, the two teams that could have passed us both messed up
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Just realised if Arsenal win this by 2 or more goals then we'll leapfrog the RS in to 4th.
Don't think it'll happen but a nice thought

With that Arsenal line up then I expect Liverpool will be at least 3-0 up at HT. Got to get at this Liverpool side and I don't think they will do that. Eze should have started.

Could you be arsed with a song that boring before every game? Don't know how they do it. Cunts.

Gary Neville is really hard to listen to these days.
What’s with the groan constantly.
