Did they decide the player was obstructing the goalie from moving to save the shot? I can see why it was decided that way, but I'm not convinced the goalie was saving that. I do feel for Simons, it seems rough.

They need to make offside more simple with these player near the goalie moments. If your off, you're offside, regardless of interfering with play or player.

Simple is always the way to go with footy rules.

If the keeper had dived and got blocked by the attacker then fair enough, but he didn't try because he wasn't getting near it.
