Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Those stats are surprising.
He fits into a similar niche to Cahill in my eyes, not necessarily very progressive when it comes to pass and move football, but extremely effective in the most dangerous areas of the pitch and willing to do the hard yards when we don't have the ball.

Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Hard to dispute those numbers, though it doesn't appear to distinguish between when he started and subbed on. (Probably doesnt matter since he rarely subs on.)
Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Come on nowwww it's not nice to play that game (unless it proves me right).
Let them just know in their hearts they were wrong and we all move on together.
The poster will know that Doucoure is not in fact vile shite, and that Lukaku could, in fact, do keepie ups, and we are all better off.

Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Unbelievable Jeff!
Even Santa Carlo Di Ancelotti couldn’t do very well without him (although he did win twice as many games as anyone else managed without him).

Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Dyche saying in his post match presser that Doucs has a hamstring injury but it's the opposite leg to last time.
Not sure how long he's out but sounds like might be a few weeks given he said 'longer than Seamus' whose it seems is more of a niggle.

Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Duke out for a few weeks is the last thing we need but it’s more important to get him fully fit and ready for the run in.
Not surprising he is picking up muscle issues considering the amount of miles he is being asked to cover.
At least we have a couple of weeks with not too many games to get him right.

Re: Abdoulaye Doucoure
Hamstrings can take awhile. Doubt he's back before mid February and might be closer to March. Will be a big loss, struggling to score without him.
Re: January Transfer Window
As much as I think he’s great, if they’re offering us at least our money back on him then we should sell.
