Re: AFCON Effect
Have we ever done green, as I’m typing I’m remembering a khaki one around Lukaku days?

Walking off the pitch, back to the changing room, and for a considerable amount of time.

Re: AFCON Effect
The decisions at the end of a game were disgraceful but you probably shouldn't be allowed to leave the pitch in injury time and return 20 minutes later to play the last 5 seconds.
As it happens we probably got the fair result but what happens next time when the decisions arent quite that bad and a team fucks off for half an hour in

I'm glad they did it.Deano Blue Boy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 19, 2026 2:01 pm Walking off the pitch, back to the changing room, and for a considerable amount of time.
It was a disgrace the decisions.
And the player wasn't affected by it as he then tried to take the piss with a panenka !!

Re: AFCON Effect
If Everton were in a cup final and the ref disallowed a goal for the opposing team, then shortly after award us a pen, both of which is out of our control, then their manager ordered them off the pitch, then they even went back to the changies.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Mon Jan 19, 2026 2:13 pm I'm glad they did it.

I'd be screaming for a forfeit.
Re: AFCON Effect
It goes beyond the ref though.
Seems like there’s been a lot going on behind the scenes with the conditions since they arrived for the final and the ref was the final straw.

Isn't blue / green a common colour blindness issue?
Delighted for the lads to get their medal.

N'Diaye shared an insta live post before of them on an open top bus in Senegal, they're not home yet
Re: AFCON Effect
Plenty time, we don't play until Monday. Probably have a couple of days off and back in training on Thursday.

Re: AFCON Effect
I’d start Ndaiye on Monday, but let Gueye have a rest, where we’re currently well covered.
