I don’t see the tactical fit unless Ndiaye is some kind of indication that we’re looking to play fewer long balls to a centre forward with his back to goal and more througballs into space for the forward to run onto.

Yeah, crap deal for us that. You can him have for a season, realise he's rubbish and then not take up the buy option.

Yeah, needing to extend his contract is a complete non-starter. Better to just let him rot like we did with several last season.
