Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Never heard of him but right age, right profile. Curious about the buy option - they bought him for €18m under a year ago so would expect it'll be around that.
Re: Carlos Alcaraz
From what I can tell he's a CM? Weird in a a way because he seems to have the attributes of someone that would play further forward (Quick, good dribbler) and I'd be concerned whether he's up to it on the defensive side. Not sure if it's just because he's Argentinian that I'm saying this but maybe an Enzo Fernandez type of midfielder but not as physical?
Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Box to box terrier with great shooting technique, knows how to crash the box and can pass a ball...
Doucoure upgrade?...

Re: Carlos Alcaraz
I think he’s gonna be the other duel 10 with N’diaye. Pace and power behind Beto, with the guile of N’diayeAjaxAndy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 7:03 pm Looks great in that video, not so much a Mangala replacement and a ball playing 8. Might mean we have to move Gana back to the holding role which wouldn't be ideal however maybe needs must at this point.
If the video is anything to go buy though he's a progressive passer who's strong and press resistant which would be a very nice thing to have!
Re: Carlos Alcaraz
Came out of nowhere this one, hopefully he gives us the same vibes as Manny Fernandes
