I'm sure Wirtz will improve as the season goes on but for £110m then you'd expect him to look better than Curtis JonesBluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 3:53 pm Kerkez and Wirtz have both been garbage so far this season.

Honestly none of the big sides have looked good so far have they?
Anybody’s league this year based on what we’ve seen so far

It's nice to see these old football grounds still in use.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
It's great to be treated to that famous Anfield atmosphere.
Long periods of nervous silence, punctuated every now and then by 5 second chants of ''Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool''.
It really is the stuff of legend.

The ground's always like a morgue, the Anfield atmosphere is an absolute myth built on the back of that shite they sing at the beginning, then they sit on their hands for the rest of the game.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Nice bit of trolling by Sky, showing the view of the HDS from the top of Anfield.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
All the top teams are way too sterile, too obsessed with keeping possession to actually take any risks and play interesting football

Same, I'm done. Will watch Villa Palace later, guaranteed to be a better game.
