Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Was reported in the athletic by paddy boyland who mentioned it again on the blue room this week.
Why does it defy logic? He’s out in contract next season, he can sit, asses his options and pick up better wages and a big signing on fee.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Well he's spent about 2 years injured followed by 18 months missing what few chances he gets with us. He can assess his options all he likes but the way he's playing he ain't going to do better than Newcastle
He'd be stupid to turn down Newcastle assuming they offered the same money on a long term contract. He's done nothing in years to deserve that

Maybe he doesnt want to move to the North East? New baby etc family in Yorkshire.

Maybe his missus has a horse and he's worried about it getting chinned.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 3:47 pm Maybe he doesnt want to move to the North East? New baby etc family in Yorkshire.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
That would be really poor business. Broja can't find a club for a reason. He finds physios for fun.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Pre-contract in January then. Thid is the worst outcome, he'll play at 75% to avoid injury.
Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Hopefully not. It’s a well known fact that the further away you are from giving 100%, the greater the chance of injury

Great touch for the Keane goal, great finish for his goal.
Would be huge for us if he can have a good season.
