Everything about that was mental. You'd have to be nuts to take that job at this point. A team of one paced cloggers for the most part. At least Pereira came in with Ait-Nouri and Cunha to get the best out of them, what will the new guy have to work with?
I assume it'll be some absolute randomer who comes that is just looking to get his foot in the door of English football. Maybe even Gerrard, but I'm not sure he's that stupid.

Think they re-negotiated in his new contract to what the pay off would be if he was to lose his job. Either way win win , just like Ange . Easy money for these failed managers these days.
