Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I sort of figured tim was an FFP fiddle and he'll play as much for us as Dobbin plays for them.
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Same, though I suppose James Garner is probably less a intimidating opponent to Tim compared to Leon Bailey to Dobbin.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
They’re not necessarily equal though just because it looks that way on paper. We traded players that are on the fringes of our squads to keep the wolves from the door but theirs is CL. Their fans seem to think we could have a gem on our hands but they can’t give him the game time. I don’t think he’s a guaranteed starter but that he’ll get a go

If he breaks 500 minutes I will be pleasantly surprised.Bornblue88 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2024 9:48 pm They’re not necessarily equal though just because it looks that way on paper. Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Out
- Onana 50m
- Godfrey 10m
- Dobbin 10m
In
- Harrison loan (no fee?)
- Iroegbunam 10m
- Ndiaye 20m
- Lindstrom 2.5m loan fee
Net: +£37.5m
Potential
- Gnonto 22.5m
- Phillips 5m loan fee?
- Tchatchoua 10m
Net: £0
I think this would look like an excellent summer of business if big Kev can pull it off and maybe there’s even wiggle room in the budget for Jake O’brien. Maybe DCL goes to cover it and we still break even. I should really sleep

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I wonder if there are plans beyond Phillips to add to out Midfield?

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Danjuma, Gomes and Godfrey being replaced by Lindstrom, N'Diaye and O'Brien seems solid on paper.
Still an Onana shaped hole in the midfield, and then there's the full backs. And any depth in any other positions.

Some good tackles against Kvaratshkelia in this video. About 3 I think. Look out for number 77. There’s no videos available that show what he’s like going forward though but has 2 assist in his last 3 seasons and a goal in each season before his move to Verona so I wouldn’t be expecting much if he signed.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Yeah, loves a slidey.
Very small sample size, but he looks better positionally.
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Aaron Harvey @AaronHarvey_ 2h € Free agent Ricardo Rodriguez is in advanced talks with Everton to sign for The Toffees on a
free transfer.
Don’t know how reliable - saw it elsewhere

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Rodriguez looked like he was going to be a massive player at Wolfsburg. Was a fairly complete attacking fullback, down to the set piece deliveries, and was relatively big and strong in the air for the position.
Doesn’t seem like he ever really kicked on from that initial promise and not sure what he has left in the tank. It looks like he actually played predominantly as a CB for Torino last season.
Definitely not a meaningful improvement over Mykolenko (or either starting CB or O’Brien), possibly useful cover if the wages are affordable enough. Has the kind of profile you’d expect Dyche to want in a fullback, to be fair.
