How was Fernandes not sent off?

The bar is so different for some clubs.

Wow, Now 0-4. Oh, might be ruled out for handball.

Your stream is pretty delayed. It was ruled out.

Well, could've been better scores. Not as bad as they were at one point though.

Looking forward to the Villa v Arsenal game.

What do we think of Brighton this season? Definitely don't seem as good as they were last season. Failed to beat Sheffield United and Burnley at home. Adingra looks really good.

Feel like if you sit deep against them then there's a decent chance of a result.

Right then. Massive test of Arsenal's title credentials upcoming.

Let's see if the Rice signing makes the difference they wanted it to in these make or break games.

Apparently this is the highest number of points they've ever accumulated at this point in the season.

I think, as you would expect, teams have come up with ways to combat their methods of drawing the press from last season, and so it's more complicated for Brighton as a result. Having said that, given that they've had a European campaign on top of the league to deal with, I actually think they're doing pretty well.

To me, it feels like mainly a combo of playing in EL (physical attrition and lack of prep time for each game) and maybe just a little of teams now getting a better understanding of De Zerbi's tactics.

They've made a lot of progress, but there has also been a lot of player (and some manager) turnover in a short time and it currently doesn't seem like they're quite as fluid as they have been in previous seasons.

Bigger picture, Brighton's formula of late relies on them finding diamonds in the rough again and again, and it's also hard to maintain that too.

I'm surprised at that tbh, though I guess they did smash Man United and Wolves away from home earlier this season, so maybe them not being quite as emphatic recently has clouded my judgement.

I did expect them to drop off a bit with the Europa League, they just seem to lack a bit oomph that was there last season. Although, when I look at the teams they're putting out with the goalkeeper(s), some of the defenders and the likes of Milner and Lallana(in 2023) then I can't be too surprised that they're not whacking 3 goals past teams on the regular.

I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal try and slow it down and take 5 mins over every set piece.
