Re: Sunderland v Everton
I just don't get how he doesn't see Jake at RB being a huge issue.
It's not Jakes fault, I like him but he slows down attacks on the right so much as he isn't a full back.
We absolutely love hiring these "square pegs in round holes" managers don't we?

Re: Sunderland v Everton
Yeah thought we might get a change but also...away game, Monday night, opposition team are flying... Doesn't really sound like one where Moyes experiments much does it.
Head says same again same again, heart says Barry on the end of crosses.

Yeah shouldn't be surprised by the lack of changes but still disappointed. Think we've still got the ability to give them a game but same flaws exist

Re: Sunderland v Everton
Well the "the old adage" is to judge a team after 10 games
Well that game is tonight what will it be at 90 mins
a) mid table ok start , good if you base it on the last 3 seasons. Push for top 10.
b) another possible relegation fight.
All I've seen lately from the players is we have moved away the struggles of the past . Time to start performing

Re: Sunderland v Everton
Got to just pump the crosses in tonight and hope he gets on the end of some, even if he doesn't score he needs to actually get some hits on target to get his confidence up a bit.
Re: Sunderland v Everton
Anyone who shouts for him to go is an absolute fucking idiot who gets the club they deserve.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 7:00 pm Don't win tonight (and we probably won't) and they'll be plenty of shouts for him to go. Feel like we are getting to the point where we need someone to take a new look at what we have.
I couldn't be more disappointed at the mess they made of the last window. Already ready to see the back of another season. Vile shite
The fanbase needs to calm it down a bit. We’d still be four points off the bottom three with Fulham at home to come if we lose.

Re: Sunderland v Everton
Its coming though. Lose tonight and Fulham is a must win. Not arsed for him going but im certainly not enthused by him either. Think im at the point where id hope we stay clear this season and then move on rather than let him have next season too.
Whoever is responsible for the transfer business shouldn't be allowed to make them decisions again though. They are all fortunate that its a combined shitty effort so its hard to point the finger
Re: Sunderland v Everton
Just showing highlights of when we had Lukaku and Barry. Good times. Love big Rom
