Seems perfectly suited for this system

Am I the only one who thinks signing the Luton striker is a terrible idea?

I like the look of Sunderland's Jack Clarke

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I ain’t for it either we need to stop buying relegated players and wasn’t he injured a lot last season too

Started 27 out of 38 premier league games last season, scoring 10 goals.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 11:42 am I ain’t for it either we need to stop buying relegated players and wasn’t he injured a lot last season too
I'd have him over Abraham every day of the week.
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
He’s 27 and spent most of his career in the championship and lower leagues where his record wasn’t great.
Maybe he’s a late starter but it doesn’t strike me as a good piece of business.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Why, one is playing for a Champion League Club, the other s playing for a Championship one. Abraham would easily score 20 goals in a PL team next year. He hasn't got a long history of injuries, just had a bad time last year
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I don't rate Abraham at all, and I don't think he'd suit our system as well as Adebeyo would.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Thought Abraham was sensational in the Championship but not done much when he stepped up. Unsure about Luton guy either. Has looked threatening but seems more like a purple patch based on Luton playing the second half of the season like ‘next goal wins’.

I'd rather just play Cherminator. Or even Beto, see if he improves with a year of acclimation.
No sense throwing more good money after bad, just to DO SOMETHING!!1111

Anything, literally anything is better than giving Beto game time in the blind hope he somehow looks like a premier league footballer.Evertonian in NC wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 2:17 pm I'd rather just play Cherminator. Or even Beto, see if he improves with a year of acclimation.
