Hard to defend our worst ever winless run in the prem really isn't it?

Just hope he keeps us up and new owners replace him.

Those new owners hopefully not being 777 mind.

Yet in Dyche's mins we were a few minutes away from a draw at Bournemouth and very unlucky due to a bizarre own goal, got a point against Newcastle and are favourites to beat Burnley.

So he'll believe what we're doing is correct as it's all about getting points and the best way to do that is not lose.

If we beat Burnley that'll be 4 points from 3 games and desperately unlucky not to have taken 5 in Dyche's mind.

This is the issue with someone who focuses purely on the result rather than the process, as everyone else can see we didn't deserve anything against Bournemouth and we're lucky against Newcastle.

As soon as the ball goes long, the odds of something happening massively diminish. Especially from Pickford and the CBs. Unless we are being pressed and forced into it, play it short and through the lines. Tark and Branthwaite are comfortable with the ball at their feet and will look for a through pass.

Dyche needs to adapt his system to survive in the job. He needs to instruct the players more effectively and implement patterns of play other than pumping the ball long for the striker and Douc to pick up.
I don't like the look of it either, but I've no faith in us not coughing it up either directly from our centrebacks or midfield, and conceding easy against the tamest of pressing.

We've maybe the movement, but not the passing ability to pull this off either. If McNeil is our best ball-player then as important as he is for us, we're in serious trouble.

“Our job is to look beyond [results] and measure it the best we can - with stats, facts, analysis and your eyes and your feel. Myself and my staff have got thousands of games between us. I can assure you there is no naivity to it. We are not going 'oh well, we played well again”

“My knowledge is pretty good of the stats and facts of Premier League football and what brings winning football. I have not corrected it so far in this run but I think that I have got a depth of knowledge that suggests when we do things right and I play the way that we should be playing then we can correct that and that's what we will be looking to do."

Ahhhh the ramblings of man trying to make out it’s not all about results to show you’re not completely shit at the job

I just hate how he talks I really do. Middle management waffle that always boils down to - we've got lots of experience and we're doing everything right all the time.

What complete tripe he hasn’t changed formation or tactics in the last 13 games to try and address it just keep plugging away at it hoping for a bit of luck which we got Tuesday

Don't know what people expect him to say tbh... Is he really going to come out and say 'I'm struggling here, it's possible that despite all my experience I'm actually not really able to adapt to the current game and I've pretty much lost the dressing room. Just hoping we can grind it out to the end of the season and stay up, and that I don't get sacked at some point'.

Whether we stay up or go down, he has to go this summer. Nothing will improve under him and will likely keep edging towards relegation with him at the helm.

Sadly I’m not sure who would come to us in our current situation. It’s like Dyche and Everton deserve one another. 😭

Human nature that he would adopt a defensive stance when feeling threatened.
