I've liked the way VARs been used, no fucking about, clear it up as quick as you can one way or another and get on with the game, just as it should be.
Get rid of the tea breaks and it'll almost feel like decent, uninterupted footie of a few years back.

Maybe it works out but we just look unbalanced at the back.
I don’t think any of the CBs are really “world class”. Stones was, but hard to tell his level now. Not been great in front of them though either mind you. Kane aside who has really impressed? Not many.

John Stones probably has a decent tournamount, signs for Everton and then back on the treatment table for most of the season come August.

All of the attacks have come down the left so Gordon hasn’t seen much of the ball but you can see why managers seem to love him - his pressing really is impressive
