Re: 777 Partners Takeover
We couldn't have, in any way shape or form gotten into business with anyone fucking worse. He's been a cataclysmic fucking disaster for the club.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I don't think there is anymore. Think the 50% for the 160m we owed the other bidder suggests they wanted the club. Think the fact that they didn't enforce it suggests they feel the value of the club has dropped further.
The club is probably worth less each passing week and he's still wanting a mad number only offered by people with no money
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
What more evidence does he need that this lot is not fit for anything let alone owning a football club - it is not as if there isn't evidence with other clubs.
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
That's the thing though, Moshiri doesn't give 2 shits about the welfare of Everton once it's sold.
He simply just wants out, and these guys are the only ones that seem legit interested.

He's still a moron because they've got no money and the club is burning while he waits

If Moshiri's money's dried up and 777 are the only people willing to do a deal he has no option but to give it every chance.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
This is the future of top level football. Once a club sells out to one person, one firm or one whatever you are then at their mercy for evermore. Owners move on, go bankrupt, die etc etc so the trick is to make the most of the "good" owners whilst you have them. Perhaps what we are seeing is the 'brains' behind our takeover was Usmanov? 777 will move on (if they take us over at all) and that's when things get better for a bit.
One thought to hold on to is whoever is interested in buying a PL club is buying it because it's a good investment. However, it's only a good investment whilst you retain your PL place so that does mean any purchaser needs to invest in the team which, whilst for different reasons, is what fans want.
We're now in a cycle that will have ups and downs - as will other rich owners playthings/clubs. We were drooling at the unlimited wealth that we adopted as 'ours' when U and M took over and all this sh*t is what comes with living off other peoples wealth.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
It’s not happening.
I’m totally relaxed about that but not relaxed about what happens next.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Same.
There's clearly some kind of bullshit finance job happening here and it might well end up with us being liquidated or selling off Bramley Moore, but it won't be the obvious thing in selling to 777 and them doing poorly.
There are many more stages of shit for us to witness yet.
