Flap Levels
Felt like it was worth starting a thread just so we're all aware of where everybody's at.
I'm at a solid 8/10 on the Flapometer. Going to take some effort to get me down from there in the coming weeks. Decent chance the next couple of pre-season matches could see that hit 10/10.

Re: Flap Levels
6/10.
Nothings really changed after that match other than realising Patterson isn’t it and we need a proper right back.
We played well then fell apart a bit with individual mistakes.
Desperately need to sign players and tonight proved why we should have already been a lot busier.
It’s a bit embarrassing the state the squad is in at the moment.

5/10
I still think we'll get what we need in the next 2 weeks (or 5 weeks) with a few annoying, but livable compromises.

Our season will be in large part defined by what we do in this window because as we can all see the squad is very threadbare. Could look much better with a few key signings, or look shitty if we just add some dross.
I never really expected a lot of early business though, that's why I'm not super flappy currently.

I’m saying 6 but I’m not sure if I’m in denial and there’s some deep repressed flappenings going on in the darkest blue corners of my psyche.
Re: Flap Levels
7/10 I haven't quite got my head around what's happening. Assuming there's some moneyball driven algorithm indicating money spent in the last few weeks of the window delivers more value.
Yeah that must be it.
Yeah that must be it.
Re: Flap LevelsW
Still not there at all.
We are being linked with a good standard of player for our ambitions.
I might start to register on the scale if another couple of weeks pass and we still haven’t signed any of them.

Re: Flap Levels
A solid 7, nothing I have seen so far suggests it should be a lower number but I've built in a margin as Moyes has mentioned numerous times how many players he wants so I assume most of that will happen at some point but it is just going to be too late for the start of the season.

Re: Flap Levels
Not there at all.
Think I've accepted that we'll possibly have a slow start to the season, but remain convinced we'll have an exciting squad. Not really bothered about friendly results with a threadbare squad.
