Chelsea record loss of £355m

Post

Chelsea recorded a pre-tax loss of £355m for 2024-25, according to financial figures released by Uefa.

It is the highest annual loss ever made by an English football club, and the second highest in European history, following the £484m Barcelona's lost in 2021.

They also say they believe they'll comply with FFP rules (article relates to uefa so no mention of PSR).

Its baffling clubs like this get away with it by finding some loophole, but I don't know how they'll comply with this big a loss whatever they do.

As mentioned no PSR mention in this article, but will obviously impact that too. Will be interesting to see how this pans out down the line, or will they just have given up on points deductions by then because they did us and Forest, and think that's enough to show their 'strength'?

Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea, Spurs (relegation permitting), Man City and Liverpool are immune to PSR. It's not a factor. I doubt they even discuss it in their board meetings. They're playing the game on easy mode.

Breaking news, they’ve just sold Stamford Bridge to themselves for £500m, so they can still spend a shit load

Dirty Villa were the pioneers of this move. I really wanted to see them reform at step 5 of non league.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
