Preston have started the season well, winning two and drawing one of their three games so far. Lewis Dobbin on loan there from Villa, too.

I’m still a bit surprised that we didn’t get one Everton-quality midfielder out of Liam Walsh, Joe Williams, and Ryan Ledson.

Good to see that Williams and Walsh are still getting regular games at their clubs. Ledson has yet to establish himself at Huddesfield.

What a player!
The lad was immense today.

Just seemed to breeze through the game.
Gets everywhere without noticing. Never gives the ball away. Top player.
Harrison Armstrong gets everywhere without anyone noticing.

Never gives the ball away.Devine, Dobbin & Armstrong are as good as anyone in this league.

No one expected us to have the points and performances we have had so far.

Delighted!
Awesome player. Like all good midfield players he just makes it look easy.

Enjoy Armstrong and Devine. They are Premier League players. Hopefully for us.
It just felt half way through the 2nd half, he thought fuck this, I’m going to take this game by the scruff of the neck and get us a win. He just seemed to take control. Class performance.
He is here for the season but will be a Premier League player and much more for years to come.
We were told that once he gets in, he will become undroppable thought he was sensational today. What a player, huge future ahead of him.
How is he so good? Makes everything look so easy. I hate doing this (actually I don’t), but he could be the best outfield player we have had since McGeady (and possibly be even better). I know we are only a couple of starts in, but he is mentally good.
He’s a very elegant player. Does everything really well with no fuss and actually thinks before he does it.

Unbelievably calm and composed for his age.

Yeah he'll slot straight in to our midfield next season you'd hope.

This loan has been great for him.

His pathway after leaving us was rather bizarre.

Didn't he end up at somewhere like port Vale and then up in Scotland?
