Just a little thing but really said to me that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had got a winning mentality and aura about him

Great signing
The fact instead of celebrating the equaliser he wants to go get the win is so fucking important!!

Leading from the front there. I love him!

Not sure he'd go either given he's a key player here after being a bit part player at Chelsea, can't imagine he's desperate to go back to only playing in cup competitions.

Also £40m wouldn't even be much of a profit given we paid about £25m for him.

Seems very much a non starter of a rumour imo
Certainly hope so. Let’s hope it’s a rumour without any foundation

He wouldn't go to City anyway, there's a reason he left Chelsea after a year. Could easily have stayed there and collected the money and trophies.

I think he’s in that sweet spot of being a great player for us but one we don’t have to worry about a bigger club coming in for him.

Rodgers’ raging egomania is always fascinating to me

I know he’s won an FA Cup but it amuses me that someone so enamored with himself is mostly going to be remembered for almost winning the league with Liverpool.

With 6 goals and 5 assists (assists being anything that leads to a goal), good to see him getting his 11th goal contribution tonight in his 22nd Premier League appearance of the season.
brap2 wrote: Mon Aug 04, 2025 2:18 pm Played the equivalent of 2 seasons in the prem, 0.15 goals and assists per 90, that's about 1/2 a jack harrison or just under half a Dwight McNeil.

He’s great.

One of the best played we’ve had for a long time.

Just wish he would cut out the cheap giveaways.

For all his general tidiness, he tends to play one or two very dumb passes per match that put us in the shit defensively.

He’s been exactly what I expected. Not Champions League quality but still very good.

Can’t argue with that output!

The assists bit is worded a bit mysteriously but other than that those are great numbers, almost certainly his best ever in a top league I’d imagine.

He’s a good player, he presses really well, he gets involved and his output has been good. Good signing.

I don’t think he’s great in the ten, possibly more to do with our shape (tactics?) than him but when not pressing or looking to run on to a shot (both good traits) he’s not doing enough of the stuff I want him to. He gets gobbled up and can’t get away from anyone with the ball and hes not really a passer from those positions I wouldn’t say?

But whoeve it was that was arguing with me the other week that there are bigger fish to fry is right. He’s alright!

Has he got 4 more goals in him before the end of the season?
